What to Expect from Our Fungal Nail Laser Treatment

The Treatment Schedule

We use a cold pinpoint laser. This is not the type that generates heat or causes pain. It's safe, doesn't require anesthesia, and it targets the fungus deep within the nail.
We space the treatments out because toenails grow slowly. It takes time for new, healthy nail to grow out and replace the damaged part. You're not just killing the fungus — you're waiting for the body to regenerate clear nail.

When You Start Seeing Results

Most patients notice signs of improvement after several months. The speed depends on how fast their nails grow and how advanced the infection was when we started.
Clear nail doesn't come back overnight. But if you're consistent and follow the full plan, the results speak for themselves.

Why We Don't Just Use Laser Alone

Laser is one part of the solution. We almost always combine it with other therapies — surface treatment, and sometimes something to support your immune system from the inside.
Fungal nails are layered infections. If you want lasting results, you have to treat all the layers. That's why we take the time to explain every step and make sure patients understand what's needed.
If you've tried other treatments that didn't work, it may be because they only addressed one part of the problem. The laser helps — but only when used the right way, as part of a complete plan.
